Youth Engagement for . . .
GLOBAL ACTION!

"As the United Nations turns 75, and with only 10 years remaining to make the 2030 Agenda a reality for all, trust in public institutions is eroding. At the international level, against the backdrop of an increasingly polarized world, the international system of governance is currently undergoing a crisis of legitimacy and relevance. In particular, this crisis is rooted in the need to strengthen the capacity of the international system to act in concert and implement solutions to pressing challenges and threats (examples include some of the worst contemporary conflicts and humanitarian emergencies, such as Syria and Myanmar, as well as global challenges, such as the COVID-19 outbreak and climate change).

Enabling the engagement of youth in formal political mechanisms does increase the fairness of political processes by reducing democratic deficits, contributes to better and more sustainable policies, and also has symbolic importance that can further contribute to restore trust in public institutions, especially among youth. Moreover, the vast majority of challenges humanity currently faces, such as the COVID-19 outbreak and climate change require concerted global action and the meaningful engagement and participation of young people to be addressed effectively."

Stark Realities for . . .
Future Generations Already With Us Today!
"YOUTH ACTION MATTERS!"
Twenty years into the 21st Century and
already the world has faced - and
is yet facing - unprecedented
events that are
compelling unity of Nations great
and small! And that force of joining
together is including scores of . . .
"YOUTH AROUND THE WORLD"
making profound statements backed by
"GLOBAL ACTION!"

The global community of Nations should be very proud to evidence youthful concerns being brought to the forefront: all in genuine
efforts to preserve a world wherein
a continuation of a viable and
sustainable existence can survive;
not only for them, but for many
more generations to come!

Youthful action is taking the reigns to lead
the way! Even younger children are more
aware of our environment, climate change,
global poverty, the need for quality
healthcare, education and jobs
that lead to financial stability
for family longevity and happiness.

The COVID-19 pandemic is imposing a harmful
and dangerous detriment to all peoples of the
world. In this medical crisis, youthful ideas
and ingenuity cannot be ignored. The old
and wise saying, 'A child shall lead' must
be considered. Why? Because our
youth of today know - and
even understand much more than
older adults acknowledge them for.
Keep in mind when we're on some 'techy stumbling block' . . . just ask a five-year
old to help you solve the problem!

And as for governance and institutions intended for the wholesome development and sustain-
ability of "Humanity Around the World,"
youthful action is demanding "just &
lawful governance with
JUSTICE FOR ALL!"

The world must be mindful that "The Youth
of Today Are the Leaders of Tomorrow:"
already demonstrating
with promising potential, confidence
and peaceful coordination that
"YOUTH ACTION MATTERS . . .
. . . IN EVERY PLACE
AROUND THE WORLD!"
